Museu da Umbanda operates through a small, collaborative structure supported by student Assistant Organizers. Areas of work, such as installation, documentation, research, conservation and programming, meet the evolving needs of the collection. Each contributor’s role is defined by the specific forms of labor they carry out, emphasizing hands-on experience and shared responsibility in the development, care, and presentation of the museum.
